If an eligibility response shows no specific signal returned for a service, the consumer can check MyMDHub (c) to see whether the service has already been provided and paid by Medicare for the relevant period.

Platform Standards

The platform supports HL7 FHIR R4 for standardized healthcare data exchange, CARIN Consumer Directed Payer Data Exchange guidance for payer-to-consumer access, OAuth 2.0 with PKCE for secure user-authorized access, and RESTful APIs with JSON for efficient data exchange.

Access and Authorization

Access to health data is granted directly by the individual through a secure authorization process. MyMDHub only retrieves data that the user authorizes. Supported access may include identity and profile information, patient record information, coverage information, and claims and related health record data.

User Control and Privacy

Users remain in control of their information throughout the authorization process. During consent, users may choose whether to authorize access to their health and claims data and whether to include demographic information such as name, date of birth, race, and sex.

Users can also delete imported Medicare data from inside the signed-in experience after a confirmation step. This action deletes the Medicare data stored in MyMDHub and revokes the current Medicare connection so data will not reappear unless the user reconnects and imports again.

Platform Integration

MyMDHub is designed to support secure connections to external health data sources through standardized authorization workflows. This allows users to connect records, import authorized information, and view their health data within a single platform.
